This is my usual method (sometimes with slight variations) for painting plate-clad knights and similar characters. The knight figure used in the tutorial can be found here: LINK and was sculpted by the fantastic Saint Decent

Nice tutorial with simple techniques. I do my metals the same way until your steps III-IV. I think I’m going to push them a little more.

Just hopping on here so I can say how awesome you are! All these figurines and sculptures made by hand. Wow! They really took my breath away. Keep going with whatever you are doing because you are clearly doing it right. Even this tutorial made me just want to grab whatever figure I have and start painting again.
