Sylvan Warband on Kickstarter

The campaign for the Sylvan Warband miniature set launched this morning! It is another collaboration with Andrew May of Meridian Miniatures, who is running the KS for me. This time we’re making a set of 12 forest creatures, cast in white metal.
Field them as monsters or a warband in your skirmish games, or even as rank&file in your fantasy army if you pick up multiple sets. The Woses, Treefolk, and Beastfolk are all single piece figures and have integrated bases.

The previous sets (Folk Horrors, Folk Horrors II, and Misc Monsters) are available through the campaign, so if you missed them previously you have another chance now!
BUILDING THE WILD FOREST
As always, I wanted eye-catching scenic shots to show off my new release, so a custom atmospheric backdrop was a must. I had a collection of forest terrain from earlier, but I wanted to make a handful of new gnarled trees with subtle monstrous faces on them. Here’s how I went about it:

Love these! Already backed the kickstarter - the previous ones have gone so smoothly, so very pleased to see you are keeping your collaboration with Andrew May.
Need to get out hunting some roots again - they really do make the best trees, but I’ve never sculpted any additional details onto them. Excited to give it a go ^^
